Leeds School of Business Announces
New Two-Year Evening MBA Program
PRESS RELEASE
July 27, 2009
Boulder, CO – The University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business unveils its new two-year Evening MBA Program today.
Education and innovation intersect in the re-imagined Leeds Evening MBA program. The program is specifically designed for working professionals and moves from a three-year structure to a two-year plan – one that allows students to take more elective courses. Evening MBA students develop a strong core business foundation complemented by electives that speak to their unique professional goals and interests.
“We are excited to announce this new design and pleased to offer working professionals another option for their career development,” said Leeds School of Business Director of MBA Programs Anne Sandoe. “We’ve retained the strong core foundation and are creating a set of electives that will optimize the work experience that Evening MBA students bring to the program and allow them to gain the breadth and depth that electives can offer.”
“It is important that we continue to innovate and re-engineer ourselves in order to keep pace with the changing needs of our student population,” added Associate Dean of MBA and Executive Programs Dr. Richard Wobbekind. “The design of our new evening program is exciting in that it will allow us to offer a program for working professionals with the same depth, breadth and rigor as a full-time MBA program in a 24-month period.”
Students entering the new Leeds Evening MBA program will begin classes in May 2010.
The Leeds School of Business MBA program has established itself as a leader in entrepreneurship, real estate, and sustainability. The Robert H. and Beverly A. Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the Leeds School of Business has been ranked once again in the top 20 business school programs by U.S. News and World Report.
