What do we need to know about the intensification of military operations and political heat between India and Pakistan as well as between Israel and the Middle East in the face of the current worldwide financial crisis? What are the implications of these challenges for the U.S.? Given Frank Wisner’s background as an American businessman and career diplomat serving in the Middle-East and South East Asia, his exposition offered the opportunity to discuss, understand and interpret the role of these events in today’s global environment.
