Established in 1915, the Business Research Division (BRD) conducts research that assists companies, associations, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and state and local governmental agencies in making sound business and policy decisions.
The annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook is one tool that we provide to business, government, and education decision makers to help them focus on the structure of Colorado’s economy, both past and present.
The quarterly Leeds Business Confidence Index (LBCI) is another means of helping businesses and other organizations make sound business decisions. The index gauges Colorado business leaders’ opinions about national and state economic trends and how their industry will perform in the coming quarter.
