The Office of Undergraduate Student Services is committed to the development of a supportive environment designed to help first-year students build a strong foundation for academic and social success. Through a variety of programs and supportive staff we address the needs of first-year students and help them to engage with the Leeds School of Business and the larger University of Colorado community. Programs are intentionally designed to focus on the following learning objectives:
- Students will develop the knowledge and understanding of Leeds resources, services and opportunities by utilizing them in a successful transition to the campus community
- Students will gain skills that support their interpersonal growth and development
- Students will develop a sense of community within Leeds and CU Boulder
- Students will develop a sense of educational purpose
Our office recognizes that the transition to college can extend beyond the first few weeks of the semester. Our programming is designed to support first-year student throughout their entire first academic year at Leeds.
