B3 The Business Residential Academic Program
A Living and Learning Community (LLC)
Thank you for your interest in the Leeds School of Business’ Living and Learning Community (LLC): B3!
History:
As a background, LLCs are designed to create a living and learning environment for a targeted group, in our case it is our first year students who are admitted into the Leeds School of Business.
Our program began in the Fall of 2005 with a cohort of 13 students who were looking to connect with the Business School community in a significant way. As we developed the program and grew over the past four years, we began teaching courses in the residence halls followed by a seminar focused on student success. We are now graduating our first class this May 8th, 2009 in all five areas of emphasis!
Congratulations to our first graduating class of B3!!

Academic Year 2009-2010
This year we are looking to invite 90 new first year students into our engaging and highly collaborative learning community.
We are located in Kittredge West building which is part of the Kittredge complex. Our students live on the third floor with a variety of room accommodations. There is a specific seminar room on the third floor where we hold the recitations for BCOR 1010 and an additional weekly seminar that focuses on student development theory and support.
- Students will be enrolled in our recitation sections for BCOR 1010 and in their specific additional seminar. These sections are 800 and 801 and are taught in our seminar room (308).

Best students for our program:
This is the only program specifically for business students. We are selective in the process of welcoming those students who self-identity as motivated, involved, and seeking leadership opportunities. We are looking for students who value an active learning community and truly want to connect with faculty, staff, and current student leaders.

How to Apply to Join our Community
When applying for Housing, as a first choice select "LLC – Living and Learning Community" from the first dropdown menu. Then you will see a second drop down menu. Please note there is an extra fee for participating in the LLC program. (The cost will be updated at the end of February.)
We will contact all interested students via email after they have made application through the housing reservation system.
