Description
Leeds School of Business supports the recruitment, achievement and graduation of students of color and first generation business students by strengthening the academic relationship between students, faculty, and staff within the Leeds School of Business.The Diverse Scholars Program is an avenue for peer and professional mentoring. In this program:

  • First-year and transfer students receive peer mentoring from upperclassmen.
  • Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to mentor underclassmen and receive mentoring from professionals both on and off campus.

Decision Date
When student confirms enrollment in The Leeds School of Business


Admission Criteria

  • First generation and students of color.
  • Participation Grant - Student agrees to participate in D.S.P. Activities
  • Student must be accepted and enrolled in The Leeds School of Business

Funding Sources/Amount

LEAD $1000.00 per year


Individual Award Amount

$500.00 per semester for incoming freshman/transfers

Note: The award is renewable based on D.S.P. participation and academic performance/GPA.
