Registration Process & Screening Round
The Robert H. and Beverly A. Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado at Boulder’s Leeds School of Business is proud to announce the 5th annual international Cleantech Venture Challenge (CVC). A key component of the Sustainable Opportunities Summit (SOS), the 2010 CVC will be held from March 2-4th at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver, Colorado.

Intent to Compete Form submission deadline

Submissions must be received no later than 5 pm MST to be considered. Screening judges will review the plans based on the judging criteria.
Friday, February 5, 2010
Qualifying entries notified that they have passed the screening round of review.
Friday, February 19, 2010
Teams selected to attend the competition must submit nine (9) copies of their final revised version of the plan by 5 pm MST, along with a copy of the nondisclosure and waiver agreement and a publicity statement. Hard copies must be bound.
PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Tuesday, March 2, 2010- REGISTRATION and OPENING RECEPTION
Wednesday, March 3, 2010 - PRELIMINARY ROUND
Each presentation room will be set up with a LCD projector and screen.
Each team will need to bring its own laptop computer
Each team will be given 12 minutes to present its business plan followed by a 12-minute Q&A with the judges. THESE
TIME LIMITS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Four finalists will be selected from the Preliminary Round to compete in the Final Round on Thursday. Each member of the team must participate in the formal presentation of the plan in both the preliminary and final rounds.
Thursday, March 4, 2010- FINAL ROUND
Time limits will be the same as in the preliminary round.
Teams may not observe other teams' presentations until after they have presented their own plan.
Note: Should no team with a clean energy technology plan reach the final round, NREL may, at its discretion, choose to invite a non-finalist team with a clean energy technology plan to attend the Industry Growth Forum.
