Ph.D. Experience
The aim of the Ph.D. program in Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship at CU-Boulder is to prepare students for a career in business strategy & entrepreneurship research and teaching.
The Ph.D. in Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship requires:
- Depth of knowledge in Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship
- Strong command of research skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
About the Ph.D. Program
- Full-time program; students are expected to be in residence year-round
- Designed to be completed in four years
- Two years of coursework
- Two years of dissertation
- Size allows sufficient faculty resources for intensive mentoring
Expectations of a Ph.D. Candidate
- Comprehensive written and oral exams
- Internship paper
- Successful defense of a research proposal and dissertation
