--As Boulder’s entrepreneurial hub, the Boulder Innovation Center
delivers cost-effective business incubation across key industry sectors
that hold the most promise for the local community and the nation’s
economic future using its hand-selected team of mentors and advisors.
The BIC brings together the resources and experience of the business,
investment and academic communities to achieve unsurpassed results for
our clients and their companies.
Boulder-Denver New Technology Meetup – The New Technology Meetup provides a time and place for technologists and entrepreneurs to showcase the new technology developing in Boulder/Denver tech community (geeks, investors, entrepreneurs, hackers, etc). The meetup is also designed to create networking opportunities for anyone interested in new technology.
Five companies each have five minutes to demonstrate their new technology, followed by five minutes for Q&A from the audience. Sponsored by the CU Law School's Silicon Flatirons Center and led by Robert Reich of local venture-backed company Medium.
CBSA
--The Colorado BioScience Association facilitates the growth of the
industry in Colorado through advocacy, representation and service. CBSA
supports the economic development of Colorado through the creation of a
premier bioscience cluster within the state.
Colorado Green Tech Group --The Green Tech Group is a meetup for people involved and/or interested in Green Tech, including energy generation, transportation, construction, and efficiency technologies. The Meetup’s goal is to inspire involvement, share knowledge of Green Tech, and support ecopreneurs getting started, by creating a Green Tech ecosystem of eco-businesses, eco-human capital, and eco-investors. Over 500 'ecopreneurs' are members of the Green Tech Group.
Each meeting gives attendees the opportunity to announce business news, job openings, fundings, etc. Presentations follow from several front range businesses who will share their new Green Tech or inventions focused on sustainable living (short presentation, short Q&A).
Colorado Cleantech Initiative --The Colorado Cleantech Initiative is a monthly networking and business development venue to help promote economic development throughout Colorado. The CCI is designed to help build a Colorado clean energy cluster through a robust business network. This network includes successful, serial business entrepreneurial companies, as well as development professionals that go beyond business mentors. They include a wide range of investors (including numerous angel groups), and others such as marketing experts. In addition, CCI provides access to virtual and traditional incubation services. Meetings include networking time and presentations by emerging energy companies or clean energy experts.
CORE -- Core is Colorado's leading sustainable business trade association that enhances the economic vitality and competitive positioning of its members by assisting them in integrating socially and environmentally responsible business practices into profitable commercial enterprises. Leeds students have numerous opportunities to work alongside CORE staff and network with their members.
CSIA
--The Colorado Technology Association is the state’s largest and most
influential technology organization. Positioned as the voice of over
700 technology companies, CSIA provides a community for the industry
through programs, workshops and major events, connecting people and
information.
Naturally Boulder Networking Nights
-- Networking nights are designed for Natural Products Industry
professionals to meet and mingle at various locations around Boulder.
Naturally Boulder’s mission is to solidify Boulder as the epicenter of
the natural products industry and support nascent natural businesses to
launch and stay in Boulder, Colorado. And, to promote natural products
created in Boulder through various activities.
National Renewable Energy Laboratory --The
National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is the nation's primary
laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and
development (R&D). NREL's mission and strategy are focused on
advancing the U.S. Department of Energy's and our nation's energy goals.
Startup and Founder Meetup -–The Startup and Founder Meetup is designed to stimulate the free flow of entrepreneurial ideas and share practical wisdom. Some events will have sponsors and some events will promote a specific program, when the meetup is created the description will disclose that information. The meetup aim is to deliver educational information and valuable content that will assist you in starting and running your own business. We provide a variety of ways for entrepreneurs to learn, grow, gain essential skills and make valuable connections.
TiE Rockies --TiE-Rockies was founded in 2001 to inspire, foster and support entrepreneurship in the Rocky Mountain region. Anyone starting or running a business and anyone working with an entrepreneur or in an entrepreneurial company find immense value in the educational, networking and partnership opportunities available through TiE-Rockies.
