With a core of distinguished faculty and researchers we are dedicated to providing outstanding curricula for undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The accounting curriculum prepares students for a wide variety of careers in accounting.
Mission Statement
The Accounting and Business Law Division at the Leeds School of Business is a key contributor to the Leeds School ’s educational mission. Led by a team of talented and dedicated faculty, the Accounting Division attracts top quality accounting students and is nationally ranked in the top accounting programs by US News & World Report, 2004. Its students are regularly placed at top firms, and division faculty is internationally prominent.
The Accounting Division aspires to be in the very first tier of accounting programs. To realize this vision, the division is perfecting the fundamentals of excellence in accounting education. We are increasing and retaining high quality faculty, attracting top-notch students, and delivering rigorous, relevant accounting curricula. Success in achieving these fundamental goals drives the division’s national exposure and reputation, making it a viable contender with the top accounting programs.
