Tom Lee (Newmark Knight Frank) will talk about leasing commercial space, Mark Senn (Senn, Visciano Canges, P.C.) will provide details for office leases, Elaine Williams (UDR) will discuss apartment property management, Ken Gillis (Centennial Realty Advisors) will describe commercial property management, Jeff Riggs (Essex Capital) will present the first of two lectures on asset management, Steve Schwab (Equity West Investment Partners) will present the second lecture on asset management, Nikhil Venkatesh (AIMCO) will present portfolio management from an apartment REIT’s perspective and Steve Hansen (Clarion Partners) will provide a broader perspective on portfolio management . Lectures will take place on Tuesday evenings in the Leeds School.
This year, in addition to inviting first and second year real estate MBA students in Leeds, we have extended invitations to seniors taking Professor Sears’ Academic Internship class and to students competing in the USC International Real Estate Case Competition. As of January 25, 30 students have signed up for the Lecture Series.
