Mr. Berens is a skilled industry executive who brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy, marketing, sales and engineering to all his endeavors. He is frequently asked to speak at conferences and meetings on the strategic value of technology to the energy industry. His solid industry relationships, strategic insight and creativity have led to successful market launches that focus on anticipating market needs and bringing timely solutions. Prior to Power Tagging Mr. Berens was CEO of venture-backed Privacy Networks. During his career, Mr. Berens has held key management positions in high technology start-ups and Fortune 500 companies including IBM and Benchmark Storage Innovations. Mr. Berens holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
