Jeff Bisberg is the founder and CEO of the award winning solid-state lighting startup Albeo Technologies. Albeo’s brighter, more efficient, LED lighting systems help Fortune 500 and large institutions improve their bottom line by reducing energy consumption, maintenance costs, and carbon footprint. Albeo was ranked the 10th fastest growing manufacturing company in the US by Inc. Magazine for 2011.
Mr. Bisberg has over 25 years experience in the development of innovative solid-state and electro-optical systems with leadership roles at Raytheon, Polaroid, Cielo, and Picolight. With over two dozen published papers, patents, and standards, Mr. Bisberg is an expert in the field and has positioned Albeo to capture a large share of the fast-growing solid-state general lighting market.
Mr. Bisberg received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a Masters in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Northwestern. He is also a founding board member of the Colorado CleanTech Industrial Association (CCIA) and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.
