Dean Leffingwell

Deming Center for Entrepreneurship

Dean Leffingwell is an entrepreneur, software executive, consultant and technical author who provides product strategy and agility coaching to software enterprises. Mr. Leffingwell founded or cofounded a number of Colorado companies including RELA/Colorado Medtech, Requisite, Inc., now part of IBM’s Rational Division; consumer internet identity company ProQuo, Inc., Denver-based Ping Identity and Boulder-based Rally Software Development.

Mr. Leffingwell also formerly served as Vice President of Rational Software, now IBM’s Rational Division. His latest book is Scaling Software Agility: Best Practices for Large Enterprises, and he is also the lead author of the text Managing Software Requirements: First and Second Editions, both by Addison-Wesley.
