James C. T. Linfield is managing partner of the Colorado office of Cooley Godward. Jim’s practice focuses on representation of public and private technology companies and venture capital funds, with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances. His clients include many of Colorado’s leading public and private life science companies. He has a #1 ranking in Corporate/M&A according to the Chambers USA Guide and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America. In 1980, Mr. Linfield received his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He received his A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1977.
