Jeff Schott

Mr. Schott was the Publisher of the Boulder County Business Report (BCBR) for 20 years from 1989 until he sold the company in 2008. 1995 the company expanded starting The Northern Colorado Business Report (NCBR) and the Wyoming Business Report (WBR) a few years later. This publishing group became the voice of business for the front range of Colorado and Wyoming, publishing more than 25 directories and magazines in addition to the three bi-weekly newspapers. Jeff and two partners sold the companies in 2008.
Jeff invested in EarthvisionZ in 2009 and joins CEO and founder Carla Johnson as stakeholder and managing director. He brings 25 years of media and advertising experience to the Company, and is involved in helping EarthvisionZ drive its virtual earth technology to become a dominant force on the Web. EarthvisionZ is a software company that powers data and live content into virtual globes. EV creates interactive 3D virtual worlds using google earth, NASA Worldwind and other virtual globe platforms to drive live data, social networks and video integration by location.
Earthvisionz has built SmartEarth, a virtual globe web platform that geo-locates relevant information about clean tech and renewable energy using a Google Earth web interface.
