Ralph (Bud) Sorenson

Dr. Ralph Sorenson is Managing General Partner of the Sorenson Limited Partnership that focuses on venture capital investments in a diverse range of entrepreneurial start-ups. In addition, he is President Emeritus of Babson College, Professor Emeritus of the University of Colorado (where he served as Dean of the Business School), former Chairman & CEO of Barry Wright Corporation (a NYSE company) and former faculty member at the Harvard Business School. He currently serves as an independent director of Whole Foods Market and has also served on the boards of directors of more than a dozen other public companies and 14 private companies. He is a former director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and former Chairman of the Board of the Boston Museum of Science. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Colorado Nature Conservancy and is Colorado’s representative on the Conservancy’s National Trustee Council.
