Biography
Owen graduated Order of the Coif with a Juris Doctorate from Colorado Law School and spent 11 years practicing business litigation at various firms in Denver and Boulder. During that time, he advised and represented small, medium and large businesses in a broad array of matters, including intellectual property protection and enforcement, contract disputes, and responses to regulatory inquests. His academic focus is on teaching future business leaders to anticipate, identify and resolve disputes in an efficient and ethically responsible manner, both within and outside of the formal judicial system. Prior to law school, Owen worked in the film industry and spent three years as a cameraman for the Shamu Show at Sea World in Florida.
