Courses and experiential programs for students from across the CU-Boulder campus to study the theory and practice of entrepreneurship. Students meet and work with experienced entrepreneurs who guide them through the challenges of launching and running a new venture. In following individual areas of interest, students pursue the entrepreneurial process, develop relevant 21st-century skills, and build additional educational credentials to enhance career prospects.
This three-week, non-credit certification program teaches fundamental business skills, the importance of group work and career development skills to non-business majors and recent graduates. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Applied Business and will have earned a competitive edge when entering the job market.

Real growth, real opportunity, and real estate all come together in Colorado. The real estate program provides students with exposure to the concepts, tools, and techniques necessary for entry-level positions. It prepares students for a real estate career by exploring the link between real estate and capital markets, developing real estate decision-making skills, and analyzing real estate opportunities. An integrated process is followed in the three courses designed to prepare students for real estate careers.
CESR offers the Certificate in Socially Responsible Enterprise (SRE) to business students who seek to distinguish themselves in the field of socially responsible business, whether their unique interests lie in environmental sustainability, social entrepreneurship, corporate ethics or values-driven leadership. Students who complete the certificate will develop the practical knowledge and marketable experiences that will distinguish them as business professionals who strive to make a positive social impact.
