Courses and experiential programs for students from across the CU-Boulder campus to study the theory and practice of entrepreneurship. Students meet and work with experienced entrepreneurs who guide them through the challenges of launching and running a new venture. In following individual areas of interest, students pursue the entrepreneurial process, develop relevant 21st-century skills, and build additional educational credentials to enhance career prospects.
This three-week, non-credit certification program teaches fundamental business skills, the importance of group work and career development skills to non-business majors and recent graduates. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Applied Business and will have earned a competitive edge when entering the job market.

The international business program builds on students' understanding of the functional areas of business, provides them with an appreciation of the international environment, and supplies them with a framework for developing policies and strategies appropriate for the global marketplace.

In addition, the Quantitative Finance curriculum provides a strong foundation for students interested in additional academic training in the future. Real growth, real opportunity, and real estate all come together in Colorado. The real estate program provides students with exposure to the concepts, tools, and techniques necessary for entry-level positions. It prepares students for a real estate career by exploring the link between real estate and capital markets, developing real estate decision-making skills, and analyzing real estate opportunities. An integrated process is followed in the three courses designed to prepare students for real estate careers.
CESR offers the Certificate in Socially Responsible Enterprise (SRE) to further develop students’ ability to meet these future challenges by crossing the boundaries of traditional functional areas of business and those that separate business from other academic disciplines. Students who complete the certificate will see and understand the social and environmental impacts of business and their ethical implications from a broader perspective. They will also graduate with practical knowledge and marketable experiences that will guide them in conducting business in an informed, responsible, and ethical manner.
