Global Business Club
Overview
The Global Business Club’s (lovingly nicknamed as GBC) mission is threefold. Firstly, helping people know more about the business in the international marketplace, increasing awareness about global business which will result in preparing everybody for the fierce global competition. For this, the Global Business Club will organize talks and call in speakers to share their experiences and network. Secondly, to help the International Students adjust to the new place, the new culture and the new customs. This entails assistance to all the first years that need help settling in here at Leeds and Boulder. Thirdly, and probably the most interesting part of the club is to increase the cultural awareness so that the international students can learn more about the American customs and culture and vice versa for the residents. A number of events like presentations, potlucks and other social gatherings will be organized to achieve this goal.
