Leeds School of Business graduation ceremony takes place May 10, 2012 at 4:30pm at the Coors Event Center on campus. Graduates should arrive by 3:30pm. The event center floor is closed off from guest access at 4:15pm. (The ceremony is approximately two and a half hours long, please plan on attending the entire event.) No tickets or reservation required, guests are asked to enter through the northwest entrance for open seating.
Graduates should arrive at the Coors Event center by 3:30.pm, dressed in your cap and gown. Start with your tassel on the right side. You will have to carry any personal items as there are no accommodations for storage so we recommend that you don't bring much.
Graduates should go to the check-in table near the southwest entrance (staff will be on hand to direct you where to go). At this table, you will receive a card with your name printed on it. During the ceremony, you will hand this card to the person announcing names as you walk across the stage. Once you have picked up your card, staff will direct you where to line up. You may line up in any order so that you can sit by your friends.
Guests are not allowed on the floor during the ceremony--please stay in your seats.
You may take pictures of your graduate after the ceremony. A professional photographer will be taking pictures of all graduates as they are presented with a diploma cover by the Dean. Proofs and ordering information will be sent to graduate's permanent address by the photographer.
Graduation announcements may be purchased at the University of Colorado Bookstore at the UMC.
For both the University Commencement Ceremony
and the Leeds School of Business Recognition Ceremony, students should wear a cap and gown. Academic regalia may be purchased from the University of Colorado Bookstore in the UMC from now until commencement. However, there is a cost discount if cap and gown are purchased early. For more information about purchasing your cap and gown, visit the CU Commencement website.
There are handicapped entrances on the west and east sides of the building. No prior arrangements are necessary for these seats. Once you arrive at Coors, staff will be on hand to direct you to handicap seating.

Due the the closure of the Event Center floor at 4:15, any guest who arrives after the floor closure who has mobility difficulites and is in need of special seating accomdations must plan to sit in the handicapped section on the upper concourse.
