Welcome
Our goal here at Undergraduate Student Services is your academic success. To this end, we want to make sure that you know what courses you should take this year, what is required of you, and what important policies you are expected to follow. To help with this, we have created a first year advising program that all Leeds first year students (including new transfer students) must complete. We are glad you have joined the Leeds School and we look forward to working with you.

Advising & Registration
1: Handbook & myCUinfo
The New Student Handbook has important information on registration, degree requirements, your academic progress sheet, and resources. Please take a moment to review the handbook.
Log in to myCUinfo to find your advisor's name, degree audit, registration time and course listings, beginning in mid-October. Take some time to review your degree audit. This will be an important component of the group advising sessions.
2: Register for Group Advising
All Leeds first year students MUST register for a group advising session during the months of October and November. A stop hold has been placed on your registration account and you WILL NOT be able to register without attending a group advising session.
Your advisor will be sending you a link to an online RSVP survey.
Sessions are 90 minutes long; plan accordingly. Keep in mind that you will want to choose a session that happens BEFORE your registration time.
If you are in the B3 Living Learning Community you will fulfill your group advising in your required B3 weekly seminar.
3. Online Presentation & Advising Quiz
Before you can register for Fall courses, you will need to complete the online advising program and pass the quiz with an 80% or better. You will have a stop placed on your registration until you complete the quiz. We will remove stops within 2 days after you successfully complete the quiz. This means that you should complete the quiz at least 2 days before your assigned registration time so you can register on time.
