Biography

Dr. Ken Kozar is a Professor of Information Systems at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. He has been at the Leeds School since 1986. His interests lie in the area of human and organizational impacts of information systems technology, focusing on information system usefulness and usability. His current projects lie in the area of using personas to assist designers in understanding system users. He has published in a number of journals and is well recognized in the field. Ken has taught at all levels in the Leeds School, from large undergraduate mega sections to doctoral seminars.

  • Awarded the Innovative Learning and Teaching Grant Program a grant of $12,000 to undertake and complete the project described entitled: "Learning about learning: a best practices review, understanding, and sharing," August 2008
  • Awarded 2009 Teaching Innovation Grant by Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder
