Biography
Dr. Eric Wiseman received a B.Sc.(Chemistry), from McGill University, and a Ph.D.(Biophysics) and MBA,from Harvard University. Prior to joining the Leeds School he spent almost 15 years as a management consultant, and ran the Technology Management Group ( a division of Pugh-Roberts, an MIT spin-off). As a consultant, he advised Global Corporations on how to be more effective in commercializing their R&D/Technology investments. Assignments, which were sometimes international, ranged from strategic repositioning, to process improvement, change management and intrapreneurship.
At Leeds, Dr Wiseman primarily teaches/taught Strategy (Corporate and Technology), Product Development, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Systems Thinking. Outside of teaching, he was the faculty advisor for the Leeds Net Impact Case Competition ( during its transformation), the Beyond Grey Pinstripes audit, and continues to advise the Trep Cafe ( a student run entrepreneurial company) and AKPSI. He continues, to occasionally, provide advice and speeches to the private community.
