Biography
Jeff Zeyun Chen is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received his undergraduate degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, an MBA from University of Louisiana, and a Ph.D. in Accounting from University of Houston.
Dr Chen's research focuses on market efficiency with respect to accounting information, earnings management, accounting conservatism and the role of accounting information in firm valuation. His research has been published in journals such as Journal of Accounting Research and Contemporary Accounting Research. Dr Chen has taught financial accounting at the undergraduate level at University of Houston and University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to receiving his Ph.D., he worked as an auditor at PWC in Shanghai.
